my new favorite thing
here’s living proof that i am mostly easy to buy gifts for. my favorite christmas gifts this year came in the form of colorful thread wound into balls. beautiful and useless. much like me. except for the useless part.
i love them; no offense to the 5000 pairs of socks i also received. i love you, too. just in a different way.
these “thread balls” – what else should i call them? sounds weird. but they didn’t come with name tags – were given to me by my cousin. i believe she just visited peru and brought these back with her. i actually haven’t seen my cousin in years and years. and yet, she hit the nail on the head by packaging these little bundles of beauty up and sending them my way.
they are me. totally. my room mate will not understand my fascination. but they bring me great joy.
